Bruce Conover, Multimetco’s Commercial Team Leader, met with Congressman Jim Baird during the International Precious Metals Institute’s Legislative & Regulatory Affairs Seminar.
Congressman Baird has re-introduced the Preventing Auto Recycling Thefts (PART) Act, which is designed to reduce catalytic converter thefts.
Members discussed the importance of preventing catalytic converter theft and how best to accomplish this goal without hindering the recycling process of elements deemed critical to the United States.
